Bolt Ranch

Bolt Ranch Store sits on Main Street in Kamas, three floors of boots, hats, and tack in a building that's been standing for a century. We made them a 60 second spot that played at the Oakley Rodeo, four shorts, and a run of stills, and every person in it came from the valley: the riders, the dancers, even the voiceover. This video was captured over two jam packed days with a talented crew. That's Bolt Ranch.

Our Approach

Delivering on Bolt Ranch's vision meant building a detailed two day schedule around the people who actually work the store and the property. A cattle drive at first light, chores through the middle of the day, a ride at sunset, a dance after dark. Nothing on the call sheet was staged for us, it was a normal week compressed into forty eight hours. We shot on a Blackmagic system with anamorphic glass, rigged car mounts to their vintage truck for the drive, and flew drone where the country called for scale. As Bolt Ranch is a family store, their goal was not to be too serious.

Work With Us.
